Simplicity.

While a vase packed with beautiful flowers is always lovely, a small handful of perfect blooms can have the same effect. The stems can be as visually interesting as the blooms and provide movement. It reminds me of those early spring days when small flowers pop up from bare soil (only we used moss which is so much prettier than bare soil).

Retro Vase, Modern Twist

As a floral designer, its always a treat to get your hands on a one of a kind vessel to arrange in. We encourage our customers to raid their cupboards and present us with vases that tell stories. This beautiful tarnished silver pitcher was filled with exotic flowers such as grevillea, lady slipper orchids, lemons and kumquats on their stems, as well as cedar and ranunculus.

This vase is a Lenox piece and is about 50 years old. It was graciously lent to me by my boyfriend's mother, Angela, a passionate collector and crafter. It has a cool geometric pattern on it that seemed to call for bold shapes and colors. Also, the kumquat stems are almost out of season so we had to get our hands on some before they were gone. Here we have a moss landscape filled with fruit, grevillea, tweedia and ornithagalum.

A Walk Through The Clouds

Shown here: A floaty fabric "dahlia" bouquet of organza and velvet. Depending on the bride's dress style, this bouquet can appear modern or traditional.

Bridal Bouquets

This beautiful wedding bouquet was made using a recipe of fresh and fabric flowers. Garden roses and privet berry are paired with coordinating pale gold silk and burnt orange raw silk wired florets. I love that the fabric flowers can be kept as keepsakes for post- wedding projects like making shadow boxes or scrapbooks.

This is a version of the bouquet with all fabric flowers. Packed with details like antique buttons, pearly stamens, velvet leaves and organza puffs; these can be shipped anywhere. We can make these to order using custom colors, fabrics and ribbons of the bride's choosing.

Bouquets.

We like to use lots of texture and unique flowers when creating bouquets.

White.

I love how flowers come in so many different shades of white.

Something new.

We like one-of-a-kind plants and flowers. Above are succulents and air plants-- they can be used in flower arrangements or stand alone. We want to pair you with sustainable plants that fit your personal style and environment. Thinking "outside-the-pot" we offer sustainable plant installations, such as vertical plant walls.
