Hugo Boss

A few months ago, Ruth and I spent a day in the Meatpacking District giving-away bouquets for Hugo Boss as a part of the W Magazine Shop W Style day. Our arrangements were on display throughout the store, and we were in front, with a table styled as a mini flower market. We just received these pictures from a staff reporter at W Magazine and wanted to share!

We met tons of beautiful and wonderfully dressed people, including Sarah Gore Reeves (see picture #2). The woman in picture #4 is also a famous stylist.....but I can't remember her name.....does anyone know who she is?

If you want to see more pictures from the day, click here.

Recipe For Love.

This past Mother's Day was great! There were so many amazing flowers to choose from at the market. We loved getting feedback from the happy Mom's who received our arrangements this weekend. It was truly satisfying to put a smile on the faces of the hardest working people on earth (as a member of the Mommy club, I can say that!).

If anyone has ever wondered what "recipe" a florist might use to make something for her own Mother...look no further! We always ask ourselves what we would give our own Mom's, then we use that as the inspiration for most of our orders.

This year, I went for vivid colors and created this piece using tree peony, dutch hydrangeas, french tulips and garden roses. While all peony are beautiful, I had to have a more unusual variety. Types like these are only available in May and June. Look at the close up photo... amazing right?

For textures and greens, I added dusty miller, ruskus, lemon leaves and the fun, puffy green things, called dianthus. Dianthus, believe it or not, are a type of carnation. Mom (and the other recipients) loved it.

Garden Wedding Tablescape, on Style Me Pretty!

We have been waiting anxiously to tell you about the photoshoot that we worked on weeks ago, and now we can!

Ara of Rock Paper Scissors was the master-mind who brought us all together and executed the garden tablescape vision. Michelle of Paper Eight designed the super cute invites and paper goods, and Allan Zepeda was the man snapping amazing photos.
