September Wedding at The Foundry

We recently received this beautiful collection of photos from a truly memorable wedding at The Foundry last September. The artistic couple, Monica and Ed, came to us with so many great ideas for the floral design. Monica, a visual artist, also added many of her own creations.

She loved tinted glass vases and we found a supplier of unique recycled glass containers to match her vision. They were filled with soft peach and white summer flowers with an elegant, and simple design. Other decorative accents included table runners made of burlap, succulents and mercury glass candle holders.
Monica made her own table markers which were copper etchings with Surrealist symbols. The guests found their "symbol" at the seating card table on a "map".  She also placed a hand painted animal figurine on each napkin from Mexico (where she grew up). Ed and his groomsmen all wore bowler caps and three piece suits.
Shannon Norman Photography captured the day perfectly, especially the processional in the street, following the ceremony.

It feels like a wedding from another time in a small European village.
